There are variable reasons for growing under a hybrid (LED and HPS) or full LED grow light system. One is temperature: the radiation heat from HPS is necessary at certain times of the year. When the temperature outside is rising do you still need to use grow lights? Or is it warm enough, so you only need full LED without radiation heat and save on your energy bill?
With Scea Courtebotte in France, Hortilux Schréder is running a trial with both a hybrid and full LED grow light system on 1 ha tomato. HortiSense monitors everything that's going on in the greenhouse and consultancy is provided during the research period.
