Landgard has used the IPM 2019 Fair schedule for another milestone in the internationalization of the cooperative producer base. To this end, Gaƫl L'Hour, Export Manager of the French horticultural cooperative Kerisnel, signed the official first membership certificate at the Landgard booth on behalf of its 40 affiliated producers. On about 320 hectares, these French farms mainly grow nursery plants, flowering plants, vegetables and flowers.
With these products, they offer excellent conditions both for the specialized trade and for the long-term cooperation with customers from the organized area such as Discount, LEH and DIY.
With the first French contractors, producer cooperative Landgard continues to expand the direct purchasing of goods in the aforementioned product groups. First-hand goods procurement of a qualitatively high level, with personalized production is becoming more and more important for the customers.
"We are pleased to welcome the first French contract suppliers and member companies to producer cooperative Landgard. For us, France is a strategically important country in the heart of Europe. Therefore, the cooperation with French producers is another important step in our consistent internationalization strategy and the targeted expansion of first hand procurement of goods of our own member companies," said Armin Rehberg, CEO of Landgard eG.
