Innovative Growers Equipment in Sycamore, Illinois, USA has acquired the Ebb and Flow tray inventory and customer information of the commercial plant growing bench division of Midwest GROmaster company in Virgil, Illinois, USA. Midwest GROmaster will no longer be manufacturing and selling Ebb and Flow benches, after satisfying customer orders currently booked. Future orders for growing benches and related equipment will be fulfilled under the Innovative Growers Equipment brand. Both companies manufacture similar products, with many interchangeable parts. It is assumed that there will be a seamless transition, it is anticipated that the order fulfillment of custom benches will continue with an anticipated lead time in the 6 to 8-week time range.
Innovative Growers Equipment is a manufacturer of custom Ebb and Flow benches that are made to order, and shipped throughout North America. Combining the bench division of Midwest GROmaster with the current company will allow them to continue to serve the needs of the existing customers of both companies, as well as new customers well into the future.
The all cash transaction closed in December 2018. It is anticipated that the transfer of inventories will be completed by or shortly after January 1, 2019. No interruption of service to customers of either company, and no interruption to order fulfillment schedules are anticipated.
