In January 2018, the “China-Romania Joint Research on Construction of Agricultural Science and Technology Demonstration Park project” was officially launched. This project aims to promote the development of horticulture industry in countries along the Belt and Road. The Agriculture Science & Tech. Demonstration Park will be a platform for joint researching, culture exchange and horticulture training for both China and Romania.
The cooperation includes “research and development of high-efficiency and energy-saving construction and environment control technology”, “research and development of equipment for precise control of water”, “fertilizer pesticide coupling”, “research and development of industrialized production technology for vegetables and fruits”. Beijing Kingpeng will provide plant factory facilities to the project.
On 16th September, Mr. Florin Stanica, who is in charge of this project from the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Bucharest, visited the R&D center of Beijing Kingpeng Corporation accompanied by Chief engineer from Kingpeng, Mr. Zhou Zengchan. During the visit, Mr. Florin Stanica with his team evaluated the facilities and materials for the project and discussed cooperation with Mr. Zhou.
The project will be completed early next year.
