New garden bean from Seminis: Sybaris

Seminis, a seed division of Monsanto, has recently introduced a new bean variety called Sybaris. Sybaris is a straight, medium-sized, deep green, 5.6-inch bean with very good uniformity and exceptional quality.

Generally, its pods set high in the plant and off the soil surface. With a 56 day relative maturity and approximate sieve size distribution of 100, Sybaris has high resistance to bean common mosaic virus and intermediate resistance to rust.
