Van Dongen Heerschap and Gartner take over Mooy

Mooy Logistics to be relaunched

The curators of Mooy Logistics have reached an agreement about its relaunch. Mooy Logistics' companies will be sold in two parts. On the one hand, VDH and GARTNER KG, on the other.

The staff was informed of the relaunch today. VDH will take over the warehouse activities in Breda (Hazeldonk). The GARTNER Group will take over the warehouse activities in Waddinxveen as well as the company's transport activities. This means a large number of jobs will be retained.

The trustees have been negotiating a relaunch with several parties since the company was declared bankrupt. Accepting the offers mentioned not only offer a good return on the asset. It also means the best possible opportunity for continuity and employment.

Mooy Logistics B.V. was declared insolvent on 14 August 2018 by The Hague District Court. Martijn Vermeeren and Bas Ebels were appointed as trustees. There are about 250 people on Mooy Logistics' payroll.

Mooy Logistics' two branches are located in Waddinxveen and Breda, both in the Netherlands.
