Hansen succeeds Grant Wright who has held a variety of roles at OSRAM since 1996 – from Specialty Lighting Controller to CFO and CEO Americas.
As CEO, Hansen will oversee the general operations of Osram’s business in the US; and as the Head of Global Sales, he will work in collaboration with the global business unit heads to manage worldwide sales functions across business units.
Hansen returns to Osram with extensive global leadership experience in the Europe and North America markets. He currently serves on the board of Governors of the North American National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) and the Board of Watts Water Technologies. He also has served as CEO and President of Grundfos North America, a global leader in advanced pump solutions and a trendsetter in water technology. He earned a Master of Science degree at Copenhagen (Denmark) University, and an MBA from the London Business School.
