Alois van Vliet succeeds Tony Padgett as CEO of VoloAgri
Effective October 9, 2017, Alois van Vliet succeeded Tony Padgett as CEO of VoloAgri. Prior to becoming the CEO of VoloAgri, Alois van Vliet was the CEO of Axia Vegetable Seeds in the Netherlands. VoloAgri and Axia have been partnering since 2014.
“I want to integrate VoloAgri and Axia into a world class seed company that provides our customers with varieties that provide competitive advantages”, explains Alois. “With the combined knowledge and the germplasm base of our Open Field and Protected Businesses we will bring our business to the next level. We will further focus our breeding on the needs of our customers and elevate our technical services for optimal growing of our products.”
Alois is an industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience. He and his brother Sandor van Vliet founded the premium greenhouse breeding company Axia Vegetable Seeds in the Netherlands in 2010.
