PlantPaper expands in Turkey
PlantPaper announces Agrekal Tarim as the new exclusive partner in Turkey. "Following our strategy to work with the best partners, PlantPaper teams up with Agrekal, a company that has a deep knowledge of the Turkish market and a strong relationship with most growers", they explain.
For the past 17 years, Agrekal has specialised in nursing young plants for both agriculture, and horticulture sectors and in the last 8 years has supplied the market with different sizes of Paperpots for different types and varieties of crops. "Before changing 100% to PlantPaper, Agrekal ran trials with our products and got happy with the results. In the trials with PlantPaper, the plants rooted earlier, had more roots, were stronger and healthier when compared to the paper they used before."
Mr. Wael, the founder and general manager of Agrekal points out: “Once we conclude that PlantPaper is the better Paperpot solution, our team started to introduce PlantPaper in Turkey and to show its advantages. As a result, I believe we have nowadays over 70% of the Paperpot market in Turkey.”
