For fruit, the price of bananas remains high, and in some places they are available for about 3 lev per kilo. The price of Bulgarian strawberries, which on the markets in Varna are sold for 8-10 lev per kilo, is lower. Some of the markets in Varna are already offering imported cherries and some retail chains are also selling melons and watermelons.
