Price of Bulgarian pink tomatoes stays high
The price of Bulgarian pink tomatoes on the markets in Varna oscillates between 4.80 and 6 lev* per kilo, as reported by Focus News. The price of Bulgarian pink tomatoes is high, but there has been no increase compared to last month. For their part, red tomatoes are available at prices ranging between 2.60 and 4.60 lev per kilo.
The price of Bulgarian cucumbers also remains unchanged, standing between 2.50 and 2.80 lev per kilo. The price of fresh courgettes, lettuce, onions and garlic is lower, and the price of the radishes is also stable. For fruit, the price of bananas remains high, and in some places they are available for about 3 lev per kilo. The price of Bulgarian strawberries, which on the markets in Varna are sold for 8-10 lev per kilo, is lower. Some of the markets in Varna are already offering imported cherries and some retail chains are also selling melons and watermelons.
