Florentaise: off to a good start in China

In early 2016, Florentaise formed a subsidiary in China, by the name of Fulan. It is China's very first western-owned substrate manufacturer and it produces mixes for Chinese professionals using Woodpeat® and Hortibio® in order to offer them a sustainable alternative to peat.

Florentaise is a French manufacturer and distributor of growing media and has been committed to sustainable development for over 15 years. "This new adventure could not have got off to a better start", they said.

"After successfully setting up its Woodpeat® and Hortibio® production lines, our team in China has already been able to prove its worth thanks to a number of conclusive tests. We are therefore already offering our clients several mixes. Our challenge now lies in convincing all Chinese producers that our mixes are the best-suited to their cultivation needs."
