Juncker opens EU Agricultural Outlook Conference
The two-day event is expected to see discussion about the state of EU agriculture and the global challenges which lie ahead, like the environment and climate change.
December 6, the more political day, there will also be a number of high-level panel discussions including participation by the EU Commissioners for Climate Action & Energy Miguel Arias CaƱete, and for Environment, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Karmenu Vella.
On Wednesday (December 7), the focus will be on the DG AGRI / JRC annual outlook report on EU dairy, meat and arable crop markets for the next ten years, which will be published to coincide with the event.
