Australia: Queensland farmer capitalising on peppers
"We wanted to do something different, so we looked at farming grapes and coffee, but thought that was pretty boring," Richard Mohan said.
"We love Spain, and last time we were there we went to a bar in the middle of Madrid and saw people eating plates of these peppers, fried up and salted, and decided we had to have them," he added.
Mr Mohan targets high class restaurants at tourist destinations like Noosa, and has recently expanded the venture by growing more foreign peppers.
