Last week the 8th edition of Fruit Attraction took place. Over the years the exhibition has turned into an international event. There were many things to discover at the stands: from special exotics to new packaging. This year 1,238 companies participated, this is an increase of 20% compared to last year and 30% of the exhibitors were from countries outside of Spain.
Some exhibitors had the idea there were less visitors. Others said there was the same amount, but more spread out, because of the increased size this year. However Spain is an important player in the fresh produce industry for Europe and the timing of the exhibition coincides with the start of citrus and vegetable seasons which is a plus.
