Baloian Farms announces a new growing partnership with long time Coachella Valley pepper grower Emerson Kono of Kono Farms. Kono Farms has been a green and red pepper producer in the Coachella Valley for over 60 years. This new partnership is for the fall pepper crop currently in production and will be in addition to the existing growing, sales and marketing relationship Baloian Farms has with Coachella grower Belk Farms.
The addition of Kono Farms pepper production to the existing Baloian/Belk production in the Coachella Valley, will provide customers with an increased volume of bell peppers. Tim Baloian said, āIām very proud to welcome Emerson to our family of growers, and we look forward to cultivating a lasting relationship in the coming years while providing healthy, nutritious food for customers and their families.ā
