Canada: Roger Tripathi joins Acadian Seaplants as President of Plant Health

Acadian Seaplants Limited (ASL) recently announced that Roger Tripathi has joined ASL as President of its Acadian Plant Health (APH) Division, reporting to ASL’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Jean-Paul Deveau. Mr. Tripathi assumes responsibility for managing APH business including sales, marketing, business development and re-shaping divisional innovation, with a primary focus of taking APH to the next level securing global leadership of the company’s plant health segment.

CEO of ASL, Jean-Paul Deveau said, “We are pleased that Roger has become part of the ASL leadership team. It’s one of the company’s evolutionary milestones to add such an experienced global executive to our team to lead the next growth phase of the Acadian Plant Health Division.”

“I am very pleased to join Acadian Seaplants in a leadership position and to be able to create a true win, win for farmers, partners and Acadian stakeholders,” said Tripathi. “My focus initially will be on expanding APH product offerings, assembling one of the best business development teams globally, and consolidating APH’s leadership position in the global Biostimulant segment.”

With a broad-based multinational / multi-cultural background, Roger Tripathi has worked and lived on most continents. He brings over 35 years of experience in the agriculture industry, having worked for several years with Bayer Cropscience Singapore, Nunhems, USA and AWB LTD Australia. Roger recently led Cytozyme’s global sales, marketing, and business development operations. Mr. Tripathi holds a MBA from RMIT University Melbourne Australia, as well as a M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Agriculture, majoring in plant breeding and a minor in plant pathology.
