New formulation and applicability for Trianum

Trianum-P and Trianum-G of Koppert Biological Systems will continue as biological plant protection products in Holland. Previously the products were known as plant enhancers. Trianum provides protection against soil (substrate) bound fungi Pythium, Rhizoctonia and Fusarium and also has a plant-reinforcing effect.

Preventive biological fungicide

The Dutch re-registration of Trianum-P and G applies to the claim as a plant protection product against various soil fungi. On the previous label the product was described as plant enhancer with W coding W.0. With the new claim as plant protection product this encoding has been increased to W.1. Old packaging without W coding (W.0) can be delivered until June 1, 2016 and adapted until June 1, 2017.

Thanks to the re-registration both products may now also be used in strawberry production (berries).

New applicability Trianum-P
The formulation of Trianum-P consisted of a non water-soluble clay powder so that it was not possible to apply this product through drip systems. The new formulation is based on maltodextrin which is completely soluble in water (Water-dispersible granulate). Trianum-P can now both be applied through drip irrigation systems and treatment.

The new Trianum-P WG formulation will be available from January 11, 2016. Trianum-G’s new label will be available from March 1, 2016.
