Artigianfer, an Italian company specialized in photovoltaic greenhouse projects, has announced it is building two projects in Villasavary, France, for a major French operator in the solar energy sector. The two projects consist of about 66,000 sqm. of solar greenhouses type STO SOLAR/9.60, covered with glass and photovoltaic modules with frame. On the roof of each greenhouse, an aggregate capacity of about 3.00 MWp will be installed.
The installation of the two building sites started last October, and the works are scheduled for completion March 2016.
With these two projects, Artigianfer adds to its portfolio of solar greenhouse construction for agriculture, with more than 150 hectares built all around the world since the 2011.
