De Gier introduces new GEF70 fan
Energy saving and sustainability are important themes in horticulture. The products of De Gier Drive Systems fit perfectly to these goals. The latest and most innovative product that De Gier Drive Systems introduces is the GEF70 fan. The GEF70 offers simple and effective solutions to optimize the plant climate and minimize the energy costs.
De Gier Drive Systems is known worldwide as a manufacturer of innovative drive systems. Driving the ventilation and shading systems accurately contributes to creating the desired plant climate. Adding the GEF70 improves this climate even further.
The GEF70 stands out because of its energy-efficiency and its optimal air displacement. The fan design is such that it displaces at least as much air as moved by a conventional fan, but with a much lower energy consumption. The engine speed is low. This results in the low sound level of the GEF70 and reduces air swirls around the fan to a minimum.
It is one thing to get the air moving in a proper way, but making sure that the air is distributed homogeneously in the greenhouse is another challenge. A more homogeneous greenhouse climate contributes to energy saving. There will be less heating requirement and the control of the relative humidity will improve. The number of dry-and wet areas will reduce by maintaining a stable air humidity without too many fluctuations throughout the greenhouse. Other benefits of using the GEF70 are improved product quality, a reduced chance of diseases and an increase of production. The large but calm air displacement of the GEF70 creates the desired airspeed at plant level. This gives a more homogeneous plant climate and makes draught and dehydration problems a thing of the past.
Investing in the GEF70 will be a sound investment for the grower which will give him an efficient top climate.
