De Ruiter has presented several new varieties last month during the open days at the Tomato Experience Centre of De Ruiter. On of the most promissing new varieties is Sevance; a new medium sized TOV. It will be grown on 50 hectares in The Netherlands coming year and is known for its quality, color and flavor. "Production is 10% higher than the current standard in the mid vine segment", said De Ruiter's Nico van Vliet.
During the open days, the focus lied on these 4 new names :
Sevance - DR1398TH – a mid vine tomato
Audiance - DR7197TH –a round loose tomato
Kurtino - DR2571TC - a cocktail tomato
Ducovery - DR5014TH –a beef tomato
