Dutch radish grower Yilmaz Radijs has reached an agreement with Jonker B.V. (known as BiJo Organic Vegetables) regarding the acquisition of their 10 hectare greenhouse at Woutersweg 22 in ‘s-Gravenzande, Westland, the Netherlands. Through this acquisition, Yilmaz is able to concentrate its present production at nine rental greenhouses on one single facility, thereby further improving the quality, uniformity and freshness of its core product, the radish.
Director Z. Yilmaz is very pleased with this important step for his company which he started in 2001: “Continuous focus on process and product innovation and an intensive collaboration with our clients result in an annual increase in demand for our fresh products. In order to meet this demand many rental greenhouses were contracted and now the moment has come to put a next step on one single location with good soil and greenhouse facilities. As of October 1, my team of motivated employees and myself look forward to meeting this challenge with trust and confidence.“
