Sir Sagramor F1 is in fact suitable to precede and follow Sir Elyan F1 transplants (the counterseasonal Vilmorin tomato), so as to guarantee the presence of oblong tomatoes on the market throughout the year.
The variety adapts easily to the cultivation techniques used for oblong tomatoes and has a great tolerance to TYLCV and nematodes. In addition, it can be transplanted also in difficult growing periods and can be harvested both green and red.
The colour when the tomatoes are partially ripe enables companies to place high-quality produce on the market with a green-orange colour - a characteristic difficult to obtain with other summer varieties.
Some of the structures that commercialised the product also started to sell it to their main clients, who appreciated it and required bigger quantities for the following campaign.
