India: A biological control pioneer– Koppert at the Biocontrol Asia 2015

Koppert is introducing its biological control to the Asian market by sponsoring the Biocontrol Asia 2015 Conference and the 13th New AG International Conference & Exhibition between 17 – 20 March, in New Delhi, a high profile event entirely dedicated to biological plant protection.

As leader in innovative biological pest control solutions and plant protection, Koppert is attending this high level international event to promote alternatives to chemical crop protection products and artificial fertilizers and showcase its sustainable solutions to influential legislators and other stakeholders.

During the conference on 17 March, Dr. Willem Ravensberg, President of IBMA (Belgium) will give presentation about the role of IBMA in biocontrol policy, regulatory affairs, and the marketplace.

Later that day Mr. Harald Mikkelsen, Manager Microbials Production and Development of Koppert will share experiences about the Brazilian biocontrol successes and their potential application in Asia.

Koppert is committed to finding biological solutions that make agriculture healthier, safer and more productive. This principle is enshrined in its newly defined mission statement in which it strives to: ‘contribute to the health of people and the planet, in partnership with nature.’ This is not only the company’s challenge, but its motivation.
