With many years of experience in building and designing garden centres and commercial greenhouses in different countries Dave Warnett and his team acquired a lot of knowledge in this field. Currently, they design and supply greenhouses, greenhouse equipment and turnkey projects throughout the UK. As they are established in the UK, they are close to the market that they serve and are able to understand the needs of the UK growers. All Glasshouses are designed and specified in the UK in collaboration with the grower providing a glasshouse that works for that grower and not one adapted from a design that suits a foreign grower.

HBS have 5 projects under construction at the present time 2 garden centres 2 commercial growing houses and a distribution facility along with the installation of 1 screen Project and a number of maintenance and repair projects. Recently, HBS build a new glasshouse facility that is used for herb cultivation. "We started by surveyed the land, planned the nursery and its future expansion as well as building the glasshouse, installing insect netting on the vents, fitting thermal/shade/light pollution screens, and side roller screens." They have also installed the heating system and adapted an existing house to accommodate the new transport system. "We work closely with the supplier of the transport system to ensure that everything fits together and works seamlessly", says Dave Warnett.

This is an example how the company works in cooperating with other leading European suppliers, HBS designs offer solutions in every stage of the glasshouse or garden centre project. "When a grower is planning to develop or expand a new glasshouse project, HBS designs can plan control and implement the entire project. After surveying the land and discussing the requirements with the customer a custom made glasshouses Project can be designed by HBS. This is achieved by using a 3D CAD software program that will visualize the concept. Then, when the concept is approved by the grower, the greenhouse can be built by HBS Designs, with each stage carefully integrated managed and controlled.

The outlook for 2015 is bright. "We got a lot of inquiries and in order to handle this amount of inquiries, we are looking for sales managers", says Dave Warnett.
