Netherlands: New 4 hectare greenhouse for Dutch Chrysantemum grower
For the first time in many years, KUBO built a greenhouse close to home! Arcadia Chrysanten retained the services of KUBO to construct their new 4-hectare greenhouse. At this moment, the demolition work is in full swing, ensuring that the foundation can be created on 1 March.
Arcadia is specialised in growing vine tomatoes and disbud chrysanthemums, and has four growing sites with a total surface of 16 hectares. The new greenhouse is built in De Lier.
As with KUBO, sustainability is a key element for Arcadia. Both focus on energy-efficient growing. They are a pioneer in The New World of Growing, aiming to optimise both technology and crops.
The new project will therefore be based on new technology. It is considered an example for chrysanthemum growers in the Netherlands.
