Volmary introduces Soul FOOD concept

At Fruit Logistica in Berlin, Volmary introduced a new marketing concept for vegetable and herb growers: Soul FOOD. With this concept, growers are not only supplied with young plants, but also with a pot and a label. According to Raimund Schnecking from Volmary, it enables the grower to completely focus on the growing process and the quality of his products. “We are marketing the product for them”.



Regarding herbs, Volmary also supplies growers with ideas to combine three different herbs in a Soul FOOD pot to create a specific taste. “With this combination, the grower can offer the consumer a specific flavor, for example “Barbecue flavor”.



The Soul FOOD is part of the Soul PLANTS range, that exists of Soul Food and SoulFLOWERS. Volmary is already a well-known breeder and young plant grower in the ornamental sector in Europe, but endeavours to enter the European food market. By introducing this concept, they are trying to enter this market.
