From January 27 to 30, 2015, the 33rd IPM ESSEN will take place at Messe Essen. Even now, high-ranking politicians and numerous major international purchasers have already promised to take part in the world's premier horticultural fair.
As the patron of IPM ESSEN, Christian Schmidt, Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture, will open the fair on January 27 with a welcoming address. After the traditional tour, the Federal Minister will invite representatives of the green associations to top-level talks in order to discuss topical horticultural subjects. The Environment Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia Johannes Remmel will also take part in the opening ceremony. The entire Committee on Food and Agriculture of the German Bundestag as well as an official delegation from Turkey have also announced their visits.
Worldwide, IPM ESSEN is the most important ordering platform in the green sector. Even now, a large number of top international purchasers from leading companies have already registered. They appreciate, in particular, the available range of the newest products from the Plants, Technology, Floristry as well as Garden Features areas for the coming season. Groups from Israel, Belgium, Brazil, Kuwait, Congo, the USA, Iran, Japan, Portugal, Australia, Ireland, Nigeria, Turkey and Russia are expected.
