Netherlands: Adegeest Kasverwarming installs refrigeration at Hazeu Orchids
Adegeest Kasverwarming has recently won the contract for the supply and installation of the refrigeration system at Hazeu Orchids. The power required is generated by the integration of a new heat pump (brand: Carrier). The evaporator side of the heat pump is connected to the flue-gas condenser of the existing cogeneration system so that the flue gases are cooled down further.
The delivery also includes the installation of a completely new cold-manifold where the various cooling units are connected. The considerable amount of piping, necessary in order to reconnect the cooling sections, have already been laid out. In two days’ time, a total of 700 meters of PVC and PE pipes entered the ground.
