- Dismantling of the mixing line (bulk production)
- The linking of the remaining mixing line (packed products) to auto loading
- The replacement of the watering system from the (bulk) mixing line to the (packed) mixing line.
- The completion of 4 extra hoppers (external) for use in production with the mixing line
- The dismantling of the packing line (incl. palletiser) and stretchhooder
- The dismantling of part of the existing roller conveyors
- The preparation of the (bulk) mixing line, packing line, palletiser, stretchhooder and roller conveyors for transport to Treffex.
In total four companies were involved in dismantling everything according to plan, installation and commissioning. The company Slootweg was responsible for the major part of all these activities, in addition to the company T-2 for the installation of the new packing line, Premier Tech for the installation of the new palletiser and stretchhooder and lastly the company Hemmes & Langeland for the electrical connections. It is a great tribute to the aforementioned companies who observed the plans very closely so that the weeks we were out of production were kept to an absolute minimum. It is also a tribute to our own T. D. and production workers who all went to great efforts to lend a hand where it was needed! During the weeks that Coevorden was not able to produce, production was transferred to our colleagues in Bleiswijk and Moerdijk, so that customers still received their products on time.
In the forthcoming period it will be a great challenge for the mixing line operators and the operators of the various new machines to continue to deliver the same service levels which customers were always used from the site at Coevorden. Trusting in the professionalism of our colleagues I am convinced that the process of changing from two to one mixing line will be faultless.
From week 42 the first trucks carrying machines from Coevorden will travel to Treffex in Estland , where these machines will be installed in the new production areas at Treffex which are currently still under construction. The plan is for everything to be finished before Christmas 2014, when production can begin. Quite a challenge, but with the dedication of our project team we are convinced that this will be successful.
