In 2015 Japanese investors plan to develop the former state farm Avangard in Khabarovsk into a greenhouse complex.

This was announced by the businessmen from Japan: Yukio Temma, the head of the Hokkaido bank LTD in Vladivostok, Norihiko Maeda, a member of the board of directors of Hokkaido Coca-Cola Bottling Co LTD, at a meeting with the mayor of Khabarovsk Alexander Sokolov.

The new agricultural enterprise will be growing thousands of tonnes of tomatoes and cucumbers.
