"Six growers deliver "From Holland with Love VersTas (FreshBag)"

The Russian ban on European fruit and vegetables is also unfortunately affecting Dutch growers. Dutch fruit and vegetable growers export approximately 600 million Euro worth of produce to Russia, which will have to be shipped elsewhere, and due to the surplus arising on the markets, quality becomes a prime factor. This is precisely the reason why the Fresh Office wants Dutch products to be distinguished precisely by their excellent quality and taste.

Strengthen your region
The Fresh Office has a number of important initiatives, including "strengthen your region." The Fresh Office wants to offer regionally grown products directly to consumers. With the current market situation caused by the Russian veto, it is only logical that the Fresh Office wants to do something extra for its growers.

A small push
For this reason, the Fresh Office, along with with some regional producers; Marielle van Lieshout (mushrooms), Carlo Veldhuijzen (aubergines), Huub and Mary Enckevort (strawberries), Willy van Bussel (cucumbers), Gerard Koolen (tomatoes) and Rob Moors (peppers), has found a fun way to bring their delicious products to the attention of consumers. The Office will therefore offers a one-off 'from Holland with love VersTas (FreshBag)', with the aim to promote the top taste and quality of Dutch produce.
