France: Tomatrio to add 2.5 hectares of Ultra-Clima greenhouse

The well-known Ultra-Clima® concept has proven its worth, with more customers opting to take part in a second phase. Following on from Houweling’s Tomatoes, Cris-P, Windset Farms, Lipetsk Agro and Les Serres de la Croix, the owners of the Tomatrio – Peter Satow, Vanina Verneau and Damian le Guern – are also opting for phase 2.

In 2011 KUBO constructed some 3.7 hectares for Tomatrio and the project will see an additional 2.5 hectares dedicated to tomato cultivation. Tomatrio phase 2 will, like the first phase, be built in Salon de Provence in France.

Construction starts at the end of this month, and the greenhouse will be ready for planting by late November.
