Certhon realizes project of 14 ha in Russia

Certhon has started the construction of a huge greenhouse complex in Russia. TKB awarded the turn-key contract to Certhon for a complex of over 14 ha near the city of Berlgorod. The project will be divided in four separate greenhouse blocks, which are connected by a central building.

The first two blocks of 6 ha each are fully equipped for growing cucumbers. In addition, a greenhouse of 1.3 ha will be built for the propagation of young plants. The fourth block is 11,000m2 and will be used for lettuce cultivation. This greenhouse will be equipped with a fully automated lettuce cultivation system. Certhon is also responsible for the construction of the central technical building of 6,000m2.

The contract for this project was signed during the GreenTech show in Amsterdam, a nice closing of a nice end of a successful exhibition. On the picture hands shakes with a delegation of TKB and Peter Turel, Export Manager Russia and Richard van der Sande, sales manager after the signing ceremony.
