New easy to grow shrub roses available at Greenwood Nursery
The New OSO Easy Double Red, Italian Ice, Strawberry Crush and Lemon Zest are the latest releases in the OSO Easy Rose Series. These easy to grow shrub roses bloom on new season growth and will hold their long blooming flower colours until they fall off.
You'll adore these small growing flowering shrubs that mature in the 2 to 4 foot height range making the OSO Easy's perfect for containers, small gardens or yards with limited sunny spaces. These amazing shrub roses blooms on new wood. A light pruning in spring or after flowering will keep them dazzling and continually blooming throughout summer.
Cheryl Jones, President of Greenwood Nursery, Inc notes, “The OSO Easy's became our top selling roses at day one. Just give these re-bloomers a sunny spot and they will put on a flower show from mid summer through the summer. Perfect for small yards and containers...and they're disease resistant which is a big plus with new homeowners who want the beauty of shrub roses without the problems.“ Jones goes on to note, "If the blooms on the OSO Easy Double Red look familiar, it's because this variety was discovered from a seedling from the Double Red Knockout Rose. It has all the pluses of the Double Red Knockout, yet it's much easier to grow in size and maintenance."
