In the production of tomatoes, growers increasingly make use of high pressure fogging. Agro Care has recently installed a new high-pressure fogging system. Agro Partners, an automation company in Pijnacker, sold their Vifra high pressure system to Agro Care in Rilland. With the system, Agro Care wants to keep up the humidity level and lower the temperature in the greenhouse.

Nic van Roosmalen, managing director of Agro Care: "You can just tell the plants are having a better time of it. We have had a few warm days, and we were able to reduce the temperature by a few degrees. In this way, we create a better climate for our tomato plants. If it turns out that the system really pays off, we consider expanding to other locations after this summer. Either way, expectations are high. "
