Summit Agro Mexico receives marketing rights from Certis USA:
Mexico: Summit Agro Mexico to introduce Double Nickel fungide/bactericide
“Two years ago, Double Nickel had a successful introduction in the U.S. and sales there continue to climb,” said Jorge Fernandez, General Manager of SAM. “We are now pleased we can offer Double Nickel 55 to Mexican growers who will value its highly potent and novel fungicidal B.a. strain (Ba D747) active ingredient. It is a product that is highly efficacious and can be used at low rates and at low costs.”
Other biopesticide products to be represented by SAM under the agreement, include Able WG, Crymax WG and Javelin WG Bt insecticides, Cueva copper octonoate bactericide/fungicide, Neemix 4.5 insect growth regulator, Soilgard soil disease fungicide, and Trilogy miticide/fungicide.
Tim Damico, Certis USA Executive VP, NAFTA, said, “Double Nickel 55 and our other seven biopesticides join SAM’s extensive product line of insecticides, fungicides, soil fumigants and herbicides. With an extensive sales and technical team along with it, and keen management oversight, SAM has the geographic reach and market expertise to service the specialty markets in Mexico where biopesticides are most needed and widely accepted.”
Also under the agreement, SAM and Certis USA are cooperating to develop Regensoil in the U.S. Regensoil is a soil conditioner that reduces compaction, soil salts, and improves water availability to plants to improve yields and quality.
