Harvest Automation explains the use of 'Grow It Once' plants

Harvest Automation has released a new case study in which we learn how Hackney Nursery in Quincy, FL can get spacing done consistently on-time with their dedicated workforce of HV-100 plant moving robots so that crops need only grow once.

Plants that only have to grow once use less fertilizer, use less herbicide and pesticide, and less water. And more importantly these plants can be sold earlier, so that valuable field space is freed to make space for another crop. Grow It Once results in a net benefit of higher productivity and profit margins.
