Tebarint restart of Arend-Sosef canceled

The plans for a restart of the technical departments of Arend-Sosef under the name of Tebarint have been canceled. Last Friday it was announced that the electrical systems, irrigation systems and automation departments at Arend-Sosef would continue independently. Ronald Begelinger of Enthoven Techniek, the initiator of the restart, said that the group of investors have canceled the restart as a result of uncertainties in the market. "There remains no solid basis for a new start as a stand-alone company in the Dutch horticulture sector. We deeply regret this, because it was desirable for a healthy horticultural market competition."

Begelinger further announced that some former Arend-Sosef employees will now be hired by technical horticultural installation and service company Enthoven Techniek.
