For more than 25 years, Dirk-Jan Haas has been working in the horticultural sector in the Netherlands. First as tomato grower and later as sales representative in several companies, in 2013 he thought it was time to start his own company: “For me it was both a challenge and also an opportunity to create my own company. I know the market and I know the growers and customers so I think this was the moment,” Dirk-jan said.

DJ Products will start selling several products, but with a special focus on the Agrifast Tom-System: “I have been working with this product from the beginning, when Agrifast introduced it in the Netherlands in January 2012, and I truly believe that in a short term it will be the most common clipping system for greenhouse crops”
The main advantages are the clipping speed (around 1400 plants/hour), the possibility to work with not skilled labour and the reduced compost costs.
