Soon to reach Brazil
Spain: CASI starts exporting its tomatoes to China and Dubai
The CASI cooperative has started exporting tomatoes to China, mainly Hong Kong, and to Dubai, and is making preparations to start shipping soon to the Brazilian market, as announced by the cooperative's president, José María Andújar, during meetings with clients at Fruit Logistica, in Berlin.
"It is necessary to pursue differentiation and seek new markets, while trying to consolidate ourselves in the countries where we are already present. Markets like Dubai or China have shown great interest in our premium quality tomatoes and Brazil is our next challenge," stated Andújar.
These successes are taking place within the framework of CASI's new marketing strategy: the arrangement of meetings with clients in their countries of origin, where the differentiating qualities of CASI's tomatoes are thoroughly explained.
This strategy was introduced to replace the traditional stand at Fruit Logistica, facilitating the tasks for CASI's marketing team of keeping up with the world's horticultural trends and organising meetings with clients.
