Duijnisveld Greenhouse Structures ready for the future after certification for CE marking

In line with European legislation, all companies that supply steel constructions to the European market will be obliged to implement a quality management system for the production process, known as FPC (Factory Production Control) on the basis of NEN-EN 1090-1 from 1 July 2014 (but also known as CE marking). Duijnisveld Greenhouse Structures obtained this certification at the end of 2013 following an audit by Kiwa.

NEN-EN 1090-1 regulates the implementation class of steel constructions according to the user category and consequence class. The implementation, or execution class, is the starting point for the technical standards that steel construction must comply with. Execution class 1 applies to horticultural greenhouses and execution class 2 applies to garden centres and company premises. This certification also covers the welding process, replacing the German welding certificate in accordance with DIN 18800-7 that Duijnisveld had worked with in the past.

Duijnisveld Greenhouse Structures has been striving for years to deliver optimal quality and customer satisfaction. Obtaining NEN-EN 1090-1 certification for design and production in accordance with the ISO 9001 management system will further this objective.

Duijnisveld Greenhouse Structures at Poeldijk manufactures steel constructions for greenhouses and business premises and is a respected name in the international greenhouse sector. Each year, it produces greenhouse constructions that would cover a surface of around 100-150 hectares. Duijnisveld has been operating as a company for almost 95 years.
