A great acknowledgement to the small municipality in Liguria, as black tomatoes from Seborga have finally been included in Arca del Gusto (Taste Ark) thanks to the Slow Food biodiversity foundation.
It is the only type of tomato in Arca del Gusto, having passed the National and International commission of all countries around the world.
Mayor Enrico Ilariuzzi commented that it was an important result, also because it was the first product recognised for its lycopene content.
