IPM ESSEN: Ten plants nominated for Colour Your Life Award
After a pre-selection round, ten stories have been selected for further judgement (both by visitors and by a jury of experts) during the trade fair. The nominated plants are as follows: Hydrangea Macrophylla Forever&Ever® of Viva la Vida BV, Udenhout (NL), Helleborus"King"collection of Special Plant Zundert (NL), Laurus nobilis of Gova BV Nispen (NL), Duofruit of Fruithof Kapelle (NL), Dianthus l. Memories of Whetman Pinks, (UK), Evercolor of Fitzegrald Nurseries (UK), Camellia japonica of Flora Toscana (IT)., Hydrangea paniculata of Alex Schoemaker Boomkwekerij, Boskoop (NL), Syringa 'Agnes Smith', Lakei Nurseries, Lottum (NL), Blosjz Berry; Pernettya mucronata of Roland van der werf, Boskoop (NL).
These ten nominated plants will be on display in two different locations. By the East-entrance foyer visitors can judge the plants with their stories. There is also a central area for the presentation of nominated plants situated in hall 12 at the Bizz Holland stand. Visitors have to select and reward their favourite story by means of tokens until Thursday morning.
On Thursday afternoon January 30, 2014, at 15:30 the awards ceremony will take place at the stand 12A13 in hall 12. The winner will receive a beautiful trophy as well as media support for the further telling of the story behind their plant.
