Fruit Logistica 2014, Hall 1.2 - Stand B-20

Italy: Great satisfaction for Southern Seed's Presidente F1 tomato producers

2014 seems to have started well for Southern Seed Srl thanks to Presidente F1 green tomatoes.
Thanks to their TYLCV - N - TSWV tolerances, they are ideal for early transplants in Sicily and they adapt well to high temperatures. Internodes are regular, flowers are fertile and their pollen attracts pollinator insects. Plants are vigorous and fruits are round and smooth, weighing around 250-300 grams.

The high specific weight of fruit means that the same volume weighs 15-18% more than other varieties.

Southern Seed Srl technicians recently visited the Di Blasi Salvatore commercial farm. The owner (in the photos) has been cultivating Presidente F1 for many years and stated that he reached an average of 20 ton/1,000 sq m.

These tomatoes are appreciated for their weight and post-harvesting compactness, as well as their excellent organoleptic qualities.

Southern Seed would like to invite all readers to visit its online catalogue at www.southernseed.it to discover all of the varieties available.

All of the phone contacts for Europe are available on the "il nostro staff" page. Our agents and experts will be happy to help.
