Israeli heating system for year round cultivation in Georgia

According to a news release, Israeli development will assist to maintain agriculture in extreme weather condition. An Israeli company, Energy Industries Ltd., has developed a 'new method' that allows at minimal expenses to heat up greenhouses even in temperatures of minus 30 degrees Celsius. The method was sold to the Government of Georgia.



The Israeli development will allow to operate greenhouses even in extremely cold areas. It was recently sold to the Georgian government, the georgian agriculturists in the country will be able to produce year round during the extreme winters in the mountainous area.

Energy Industries developed a method based on injecting hot water injected into fine tubes that create a wide surface area and spread the heat throughout the greenhouse. Thanks to the technology the greenhouse temperature maintains stable even on the coldest days when the temperatures outside are dropping to minus 20-30 degrees Celsius. The project was executed with the cooperate of Orgil and TOP greenhouses who built the greenhouses.

Zion Suki , CEO of Energy Industries, noted that the project in Georgia was particularly challenging due to the extreme temperature that aren't familiar in Israel. According to him, the method is energy efficient since the heating loss outside of the greenhouse is very low and the agriculturist's profits won't be affevted.
