US: Windset Farms completes 64 acre expansion
Windset Farms®, grower of greenhouse produce items, has completed the 64 acre expansion of its greenhouses located in Santa Maria, California – bringing the total acreage to 128 which is now in full production. “These greenhouses are some of the most highly technical and sustainable facilities in the world”, according to CEO Steven Newell.
“With our greenhouses now fully operational and in production, we are able to supply even more of our customers with US grown tomatoes and cucumbers”, explains Newell. Windset Farms is producing tomatoes-on-the-vine, beefsteak, Campari, grape tomatoes, Roma, and other speciality tomatoes year round in Santa Maria for delivery anywhere in the US and Canadian markets.
