45.9 ml Euro greenhouse complex to be built in Rostov
According to the Deputy Governor, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Rostov region, Vyacheslav Vasilenko, LLC "Vegetable Factory" plans to build a greenhouse complex worth approx 2 billion rubles before the end of the year.
The project involves the construction of a 16-hectare greenhouse complex for the production of vegetables and green crops in the Neklinovsky district of the region.
It is on the list of "100 governor’s projects".
The project is implemented by LLC "Vegetable Factory" at its own expense and with 34.6 ml Euro loan from Vnesheconombank (VEB, Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs).
The production capacity of the complex will be about 10 thousand tons of vegetables a year and would mean the creation of 250 jobs. The first part of the complex for growing greenhouse vegetables has already been put into operation. The second part, which is 9-hectare, will be ready this year.
In early October, an agreement on construction of another greenhouse complex in the Kagalnicky district was signed. It will be a part of vertically integrated complex of research-and-production company "FITO".
