US (TX): National Farm to Cafeteria Conference invites session proposals

The 7th National Farm to Cafeteria Conference: Powering Up is set for April 15-18 in Austin, Texas. The overarching goal of the conference is to facilitate networking, learning and information sharing on all topics related to local foods in the institutional setting. Conference organizers are inviting proposals for workshops, posters, and "lightning talks". Lightning talks are brief presentations (5 minutes maximum) that often include 15-20 highly visual slides and can provide a great opportunity to generate interest in your program, project or idea. Accepted lightning talks will be grouped into thematic sessions based on the content of the proposed presentation. Proposals are being accepted until November 8, 2013.
