A former showroom for products at the flower clocks of FloraHolland in Naaldwijk, will be transformed into a testing facility for a vase and shelf life study. The interest in a vase and shelf life study for plants and flowers has continued to grow. The expansion of thecurrent Bloemplaza test facility is expected to be completed in early December. From that moment, the grower's product presentations will be held in the auction rooms.
FloraHolland's Product Quality Knowledge Centre conducts research into the vase and shelf life of plants and flowers, on the request of (groups of) growers and customers. The Knowledge Centre also welcomes companies that wish to research vase and shelf life-extending techniques and treatments.
