The company PlantLab will move some of its business to a former factory location in Den Bosch, The Netherlands. The company invests nine million Euro in the property to establish a research and development department. PlantLab has a worldwide patent for growing and growing plants and vegetables in climate chambers with artificial lighting. In the new building, PlantLab will conduct research and development for Swiss multinational Syngenta. That company, employing 26,000 people worldwide, will use the technique of PlantLab to generate horticultural and agricultural produce.
